Skin Analysis
Our services start with a free consultation which includes photography under ultra-violet light to highlight  sundamage,  areas of oiliness or dryness or other skin problems.

At Imago Skin & Laser Center, we want to help you achieve the look you want. The following are common concerns that we can address:

Aging Skin

Most of the changes we see in the skin as we grow older are a result of UV damage to the skin. This means that protecting your skin from the sun is the most effective way to help prevent further sun damage.

Solar lentigines or sunspots are patches of irregular pigmentation that result from sun exposure and these can be treated with Intense Pulsed Light or Chemical Peels.

Fine lines and wrinkles appear over time as the skin loses some of its elasticity and collagen (the connective tissue that provide support). Any treatment that stimulates collagen production will help with this, as well as treatments that provide nutrition to the dermis where new skin cells grow. Microdermabrasion and chemical peels remove a surface layer of dead skin cells, allowing products that can affect the dermis to penetrate deeper. A series of microdermabrasions or micropeels will also stimulate collagen production, and so help smooth out fine lines as well as improving the surface texture of the skin.

To maintain your youthful look, use BelleDerm skin care products and be sure to include a daily sunblock.

Deeper wrinkles can be treated with either Botox™ or filler injections. Botox™ is used for “dynamic wrinkles”, that is wrinkles that are cause by the repeated action of underlying muscles, such as frown lines and crow’s feet. Filler materials, such as Restylane™ will help lessen deeper furrows and grooves that are present when the facial muscles are at rest, such as the grooves from nose to mouth (nasolabial folds).

Redness, Broken Capillaries and Veins

Intense Pulsed Light is an excellent treatment to reduce diffuse redness of the face or neck, and will also remove very small red veins or broken capillaries.

For spider veins in the legs, if they are blue in color, can be treated with our MeDioStar laser.

Rosacea
The redness from rosacea will significantly improve with a course of Intense Pulsed Light treatments.  A series of chemical peels with lactic acid can dramatically improve the acne like pimples that can be a part of rosacea without irritating the skin. We also have a Gentle Balancing Facial designed to cleanse thoroughly without aggravating rosacea.

Acne
Achieve superior results with minimal use of drugs with the ClearConcept Acne Treatment Process.

Both active acne and acne scarring can be treated with microdermabrasion and this is especially effective when combined with a salicylic acid peel. For daily home care to control oily skin and prevent breakouts, you will find BelleDerm Clear is simple and effective. Our deep pore cleansing facial can significantly improve clogged pores and blackheads.

Unwanted Hair
            Laser hair removal with the MeDioStar is the answer for safe and effective permanent reduction of unwanted hair. A series of treatments will significantly reduce the number of hairs, on average by 85-95%.

Lip Enhancement
            An injection of Restylane™ into the lips can create just the right amount of fullness you desire.
